The FSR Veterans Patient Advisory Committee (VPAC) is established to ensure that the perspectives, lived experiences, and priorities of veterans affected by sarcoidosis meaningfully inform the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) veterans-focused programs, initiatives, and advocacy efforts.
The Committee serves in an advisory capacity, providing patient-centered insight, feedback, and recommendations related to:
· Veterans outreach, education, and support activities, including the FSR Patient Registry
· Engagement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and related systems of care
· Development of resources and programs tailored to veterans and their families
· Identification of unmet needs, barriers to care, and opportunities for improvement within veterans’ services
